As a Full Stack Developer at Full Circle Wind Services, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to make wind turbine operation smarter, faster, and more efficient. You will build integrations, streamline data flows, and deliver solutions that keep our operations spinning. This role plays a crucial part in automating both our internal and external processes, making it a pivotal driver of our growth and ability to scale. In other words: you’ll be the one writing the scripts that keep the wind in our sails… and our servers online.

Within a team of three Full Stack Developers, you will power real-time dashboards on the performance of our entire turbine portfolio, enable turbines to automatically start or stop depending on grid availability, and support our Control Room in becoming increasingly automated. We’re working towards building one central data hub and you will be involved in connecting all of our Business Critical services to help create insights that support our business.
 
It’s a great moment to come on board! We are in a transition phase, introducing the Agile / Scrum methodology, professionalizing our development approach but also implementing a new architecture. Things aren’t always as smooth as we’d like and there is a need to set quite a few things up, but that means that you’ll have a real say in the direction we take, influencing both how we work and the tools we use. Here, you won’t just work on any backend; you’ll be part of the backend of our business. 
 
With our turbines and people spread across Europe, you’ll be part of an international team where your work connects colleagues and operations across countries and time zones.
 

Requirements

We are looking for a new team player with curious, proactive mindset and a drive to improve processes and systems, always ready to debug, optimise, and occasionally refactor a storm.  To do so, you should have the following experience under your belt.

  • 2–5 years of software development experience, ideally in full-stack
  • Fluency with .NET (C#) and/or Python. We're currently working with both languages, and you'll have an impact on our future preferred language.
  • As you need to be able to read and interpret the data in our data hub, you need a strong grasp of SQL database principles
  • Experience in React
 
The above are the fundamental requirements. With the wide range of initiatives and projects running, we would need to to have proven experience with some 'extra's' to hit the ground running. You do not have to master all of them, and there is room to learn on the job, but you will have an advantage over others if you bring any of the below.
  • Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, and  test automation 
  • Next.js, TypeScript 
  • REST API and /or GraphQL API services 
  • Azure cloud services, including application  hosting (App Service, Function Apps), secure key management (Key Vault),      and scalable data storage (Blob Storage), as well as working with virtual      machines.
  • Containerization technologies and  principles (ACI, Docker, etc.)
